Allyship is a Verb is their latest passion project; it’s triple award-nominated!

Please note: Charlie went by Chris Angel Murphy but changed their name in August of 2023. Many of their previous works are in their former name.

“Prior to meeting Charlie, I had limited understanding of gender, pronouns, and frankly, limited understanding of how to be a supportive ally to friends & colleagues who identify as part of the LGBTQIA community.

Charlie's training was fun, educational, personal, and impactful. They are truly passionate about cultivating, educating, and supporting the LGBTQIA community at large, and I'm grateful to know them. Thank you, Charlie, for the education, friendship, graceful corrections, and love.”

Transforming LGBTQ+ education

I’m committed to making LGBTQ+ information accessible! I’m neuroqueer, trans, and nonbinary, so the work is deeply personal. I have experience with podcasts, videos, interviews, article writing, workplace training, conference workshops, online webinars, community organizing, and more. I help groups and individuals online or in person. Allyship is a verb, and I want to help you practice.

A modern approach

My offerings are designed around your needs in my silly yet professional style. Coupled with my background in social work, I bring the learning to life with graphics, storytelling, polls, engaging activities, and real-world scenarios. I live with integrity — if I’m not sure, I’ll use my network and refer out when appropriate. As a stranger being welcomed into your space, I establish safer spaces grounded in community agreements.

Dr. Richard Follett is someone who has become family to me over the years. He was originally my English Professor and GSA Advisor while I was in community college. We’ve been on speaking panels, trips, and beyond together.

Let’s work together :)
